I would have to agree, Andrew. The direction this discussion took got to be a bit much. I've checked out your site and saw what you've done with Geeklog. Very nice. :)

Wow, could we have a combination flame and holy war brought on by a discussion of opensource software. That would be a bit much.

I am a big user of Geeklog, I have over 15 sites for clients, running GL as the backend, and I have to agree that it is a very different tool than Wordpress. Best tool for the job, is what I say.

I hope that the fans of Geeklog and/or God do not get out of control on this one.

Evidently, I've started a flame war. All I was doing was posting my experience with Geeklog. I am entitled to my opinion, folks. Not everyone loves Geeklog. Not everyone loves WordPress or Movable Type. Get over it.

Rocky, where did you find a reference to God in my postings?? I wish you the best with your relationships with Geeklog and Jesus Christ.

First of all, starting blog on July 11 last year doesn't mean you are not new. Geeklog has more features than a person can take full advantage of in a year. If you judge it based on blogging, so be it, because Geeklog is more than a blog. However, you said it as if Geeklog was the worst among open source CMS, that's not a fair judgement even from a none technical person. It makes me doubt your ability to write about a much more deeper matter, God, after seeing you make such a judgement so irresponsibily. Just want to let you know that there are other followers of Jesus Christ using Geeklog happily. We should all be careful with our words, especially if we are to write about God.

I wonder if you have any concrete points on why you judge those CMS as being so bad.
