This Week’s Progress
Needless to say, with all of yesterday’s activities, I didn’t get any writing done. That’s okay because I’m almost halfway through Chapter 11 of Prosperity. So, I’m feeling good today.
Not only that, but I have a clearer idea of how I want to approach my NaNoWri project. After I came home from my walk, I got online and found a link to the official Lost sight, where they have a forum. I read a couple of the theories that one member had, which sparked an idea.
I’ve decided not to go with my original spoof idea, but to create and action-packed thriller in 30 days. Will I be able to pound out 50,000 words this year? I don’t know, but I look forward to the challenge.

Almost done chapter 11???
That’s fantastic. I’m a bit stuck at the moment in a part I don’t like…

LOL! I’m about halfway through. Right now, my tablet is sitting there, patiently waiting.
Writing is hard when you find yourself working on a difficult scene. Once you get over that bump, make sure to have a mini-celebration. BTW, what genre(s) do you like to write?

Only a couple of days to go, Deborah, and then the internet will suddenly go VERY quiet as all the NaNoers get stuck into the writing. Good luck.

Thanks, Karen.
I’ll have to set my block of time. My goal is to write 2,000 words each day for 30 days. That should set me at 60,000 words total.

Be sure to give us updates as the month goes on. I don’t expect a daily update, because time will be an issue but at least once a week. Yes?

Definitely! This afternoon, I downloaded a transcript for the first season, which is great because I’ve forgotten some things. I have a lot of reading to do tomorrow.

This show does have a good blend of genres.
