The Cell Has Arrived
The Cell, along with another book, arrived on my doorstep right after I’d returned home from lunch. I’ve yet to put up blinds or curtains in my office window, so I always see the mailman when he’s coming. Today was no different, except that I saw the Amazon package poking out of his bag.
I made myself work on my scratchboard and managed to pump out a few words for Prosperity before I allowed myself to open the book. Despite the distractions of laughing kids and thumping Rap music, I got to Page 30.
So far so good. Unlike his other books, King dives straight for the mayhem.

I like the new look of the site Deborah.
Can’t wait to read The Cell.

Yep, I’ll wait for your review before ordering from the local Amazon. I’ll have to check it’s been published in England.

Damn living in Japan! Everything takes so long to get here!
Sounds like he is in top form.

Ooo, goodie. I’ll have to do the request thing at the library. No doubt there’s already a long “hold” queue. Le sigh. Sometimes being poor is quite a drag.

John,
How long does it take for a book to get published in Europe once it’s published in the States?

Lee, he’s baaack (quoting Poltergeist).

Pat, I remember having to wait for birthdays and Christmas to get his books. It was very frustrating. Hopefully the waiting list isn’t too long.
