Honestly, I like slick, studio albums. In person there are the annoying guitar and drum solos, back sound systems, and the awful realization that singers can't sing. I have like a gazillion faves, and most are piled into various compilations CDs. I angle for dark and angsty. Examples: *"Bring Me to Life" Evanescence *"Touched" VAST *"Suite Sister Mary" Queensrych *"Tonight is What It Means to Be Young" Fire Inc. (Streets of Fire Soundtrack) *"Don't Pay the Ferry Man" Chris De Burgh *"You're Still You" Josh Groban *"Cry Little Sister" (Lost Boys Soundtrack) *"The Pearl" EmmyLou Harris Uh, I don’t think I’d travel 200 miles to see any band nowadays.
