Which of Your Posts Do Spammers Enjoy the Most?
I don’t know why but spammers have singled out my “WordPress 2.0: My Experience” post. I’ve been getting spam from all kinds of sites, most of them the typical. But just now, I received a comment from the Canadian Immigration Service. I wish I’d thought to check out their link before I deleted it from the que.

I don’t see my spam
I use Spam Karma 2, so whatever spam comes in gets chucked out before I see it.

Kewl!
I use Askimet, which is pretty good at catching spam before it hits the comments. When it doesn’t, I’m glad I have the comment moderation.

I use Spam Karma 2 as well. Now, spam is NOT a problem. You should think about installing it.

Thanks, Karen.
I’ll try that on another blog to compare the two.

I don’t see spam either b/c of the word verification thingy, but I remember getting the same Canadian Immigration spam.
If you ever do (and I know you were joking) decide to check the matter, I’ll be happy to help

all my spam goes into moderation automatically and then I get an email telling me about it.
I don’t trust a lot of these spam protection programs, they have been known to shoot inportant email to the junk folder or auto delete. I guess blogs are dfferent, but…

I often have to check the spam folder in my emails because of that. To the best of my knowledge, I haven’t had that problem with my comment filter. But nothing is foolproof.

I don’t get any spam because Mad wrote some form of blocking device for the blog a while back. I don’t know how it works but it’s almost 100% efficient. Maybe he should market it…

He should.
If he can tweak it to be compatible with WordPress and Blogger, he’ll gain a huge following.
