Thanks to all of you who responded to my last post and who emailed me to ask about my husband and I. It’s been a rather crazy week, to say the least. He’s bounded back, my kids have returned to their normal bickering routine, and I’m dying to finish this week of parts packing so I can return fully to my writing.

This weekend, as you know, is the beginning of the Memorial Day celebration. Many of my neighbors will be having barbecues. My husband and I will be celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary tomorrow with a romantic dinner.

I’ve really been out of the loop this week. I’m so sorry to hear about your husbands accident! I’m glad to hear that he is doing okay. Enjoy your dinner
