I felt really bad when that happened because I had an upgrade that went bad on The Writers Buzz, where I also lost everything. Sure, it's good to watch from the sidelines (like readers of blogs do), but it's not something other people would want to revisit, in my opinion. However, you are right, the conversations are the best part of a blog. Like you, I think the only person interested in my day to day rambling is me.
