Tortilla Art

Singing Parot, by Joe Bravo

I found this site while looking for something completely unrelated. The artist, Joe Bravo, uses tortillas as a canvas to paint some very colorful pieces. His work is receiving some great media attention from Good Morning America, CBS Early Show, LA Times, etc.

Arkansas Family Welcomes 17th Child

Duggar Family

I saw this article and thought, “Wow! Are they trying to set a world record or what?!” I don’t know what the world record is for the largest biological family, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they topped the list.

Another question that came to my mind was, “How can they afford to have all those children?” The first thought that came to my mind was Welfare and plenty of charity. But no. These people managed to feed their kids on $2,000, and they’re debt free. I find that amazing, given the fact that the average family with 2 kids struggles.
