2007 NaNoWriMo: Slow Start at the Gate
I’ve decided to participate in this year’s NaNoWriMo contest, although I didn’t make it to the sign-up process. While I don’t expect to make it to the 50K mark, I enjoy the challenge. The synopsis I had started working on last month stalled at the halfway mark because I need to do considerable research on a topic. So I came up with another idea and am working towards that.

I’m doing NaNoWriMo as well (and I’m supposed to be doing NaBloPoMo, but missed the first two days). I wanted to encourage you to work for the 50,000 word goal. If you don’t think you’ll get there, most likely you won’t. But on the other hand, if you don’t leave yourself the option to fall short, you just might make it.

Thank you for your encouragement, Terry.
I’m pushing for that goal. Yesterday I plunked down 2,000 words and have a good idea of where this novel is going to go. What is NoBloPoMo?
